She explained the provisions of this crucial law & elaborated the historical context in which this law has been enacted. She explained the definition of sexual harassment, roles & responsibilities of the employer, the process of filing complaints, role of ICC. she also emphasized importance of retaining the confidentiality of the proceedings to protect the privacy of the complaint. The event was a success in raising awareness about the legal safeguards available for women at the workplace.
